Dylan and I took a trip to the Adirondacks this past September to celebrate five years together. Some of our close friends live in Old Forge and we are trying to make it a tradition to visit them every fall. Everyone met us out there and it turned out to be a beautiful, relaxing weekend. We took the long way there, stopped for hot dogs and explored some antique shops. Dylan and I stayed in an old Inn on the water the first night after some dinner and some drinks at a speakeasy. Saturday we all canoed Moose River and spent the rainy night at camp. We ended the weekend with a hike up Blue Mountain which had quite the view at the top. Here's some photos from the trip!
Maine
Almost every summer since I was a little girl, we have taken a family vacation to Maine. Each year I appreciate it more and more. It's truly a beautiful state and if you have never been I highly recommend to take a trip (Acadia National Park and lobster are worth it alone). After a short eleven hour drive we arrived at the house we stayed located right on the water. A week full of swimming, reading, exploring, and of course eating lobster was all I needed. Here are some photos of the trip we made in August...
Lost and Found
Living in a small apartment means I am constantly trying to organize and get rid of things. While doing just that last week, I happened to find rolls of film that have yet to be developed. It is difficult not having immediate access to develop film anymore but thankfully I had some help from a friend. Here are a few prints from a partially ruined roll of 120 film...summer vacation in Maine four years ago.
